The four Gospels tell the story of the story of Our Lord Jesus Christ as witnessed through the eyes of four of His apostles, Matthew, Mark, Luke and John. They start with His virgin birth to Mary, His early childhood, His healings, teachings and miracles. They each tell of His crucifixion, death, resurrection from the tomb and final ascension to Heaven. The Book of the Acts of the Apostles relates to us the time immediately following His Ascension and the teaching and travels of the Apostles. Through the reading of these books we learn of the final stage of God's Plan for Salvation and it's full meaning to each of us. |
